Totland Arc

The Whole Cake Island Arc (ホールケーキアイランド編 Hōru Kēki Airando Hen?), also known as the Sanji Retrieval Arc, is the twenty-ninth story arc in the series and the second in the Yonko Saga of One Piece, continuing from the Zou Arc.

Monkey D. Luffy, accompanied by Nami, Tony Tony Chopper, Brook, and the minks Pekoms, Pedro, and Carrot, heads to Whole Cake Island, where Big Mom of the Yonko resides. Nicknamed the Sanji Retrieval Team, they seek to rescue their crewmate Sanji from his arranged marriage with Charlotte Pudding, set up to finalize a political alliance between the Charlotte Family and the Vinsmoke Family.

Totto Land is the fourth location the Straw Hats visit in the New World, with Cacao Island and Whole Cake Island being the fourth and fifth islands they visit.

One Piece Plot Summary

Gol D. Roger was known as the Pirate King, the strongest and most infamous being to have sailed the Grand Line. The capture and death of Roger by the World Government brought a change throughout the world. His last words before his death revealed the location of the greatest treasure in the world, One Piece. It was this revelation that brought about the Grand Age of Pirates, men who dreamed of finding One Piece (which promises an unlimited amount of riches and fame), and quite possibly the most coveted of titles for the person who found it, the title of the Pirate King. Enter Monkey D. Luffy, a 17-year-old boy that defies your standard definition of a pirate. Rather than the popular persona of a wicked, hardened, toothless pirate who ransacks villages for fun, Luffy's reason for being a pirate is one of pure wonder; the thought of an exciting adventure and meeting new and intriguing people, along with finding One Piece, are his reasons of becoming a pirate. Following in the footsteps of his childhood hero, Luffy and his crew travel across the Grand Line, experiencing crazy adventures, unveiling dark mysteries and battling strong enemies, all in order to reach One Piece.

Seeking to be the greatest pirate in the world, young Monkey D. Luffy, endowed with stretching powers from the legendary gum-gum devil's fruit, travels toward the Grand Line in search of One Piece, the greatest treasure in the world. Along with comrades in arms Roronoa Zoro (the swordsman), Usopp (the sharp shooter), Nami (the navigator), Sanji (the cook), Chopper (the doctor), Nico Robin (an Archeologist), Franky (a shipwright), and Brook (the musician/skeleton) comic adventures mix with true heroism in the time of great naval battles. Follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his friends in order to find the greatest treasure ever left by the legendary Pirate, Gold Roger. The famous mystery treasure named "One Piece".

One Piece 868 Manga Review

This chapter was surprisingly short, you'll expect more details like how Big Mom became a pirate, how she became a mother, how she gathered crews and how Totto Land came to be before she arrived but Oda decided to just tell 2 chapters of Linlin's misadventures on Elbaf and Mother Carmel's disappearnce. And we're they not on Totto Land already after leaving Elbaf? Oda may even explain how Linlin got Carmel's powers. Carmel is a human trafficker, yah, she's not a simple nun who ended up mentoring Linlin, helping her to become a pirate and then disappeared over discovering on how she became a monster but Oda decided to go dark bit having Linlin eating the kids and Carmel up. We even see a sound effect of them crying and screaming, we saw broken wooden piece, a tattered dress and pools of blood. It's funny how we don't see blood on Linlin's mouth, that just so weird. And now, how will the fight go on? Will she die or will she pull an unexpected move?

One Piece 868 Raw And Prediction

After looking at some other reviews, apparently on the panel where big mom is stuffing her face so fast it looks like she has multiple hands, the kanji on either side of her is the sound effects for crying/screaming. I don't like that we were supposed to be able to read japanese to know that. It's not like oda hasn't used actual dialog boxes before to show that something more is going on than what you see. My most important question now, is if everyone who was there to witness that horrific act died from being eaten, how exactly is big mom ever going to find out what she actually did? Why should she believe someone else who wasn't even there, and why would someone else who wasn't even there try to imply that? I see a pudding df moment coming soon. Talk about complicated. And that's an understatement for the whole arc. I thought the cp-0 spies were just meant to be spies in general, not just on any particular group. And it was probably in garp's childhood, so I suppose a lot of differences between then and now are there. Well, I guess it gives a good explanation for how the human-dominated marines have giants. And despite what I said on the last review blog, it sounds more likely that linlin's life was meant to be wrecked no matter what. If she knew who carmel really was, she'd probably grow up to be even worse. No pretense of honor or kindness at all.
