Vinsmoke Judge, also known as Garuda, is the king of the Germa Kingdom, the supreme commander of the Germa 66, and the patriarch of the Vinsmoke Family. He is also a skilled scientist, and a former research partner to the leading World Government scientist Vegapunk.
Due to his actions, he is the secondary antagonist of the Totto Land Arc and one of the central antagonists of the Yonko Saga. Judge is a large man with long light hair which reaches his waist. He has a long and thin mustache which spikes upward, a thin and small beard, and a prominent cleft chin. He wears a dark robe with the number "66" on the bottom front, a large light cape, a belt with the number "66" on the buckle, dark gloves, and a warrior's helmet.
Thirteen years ago, Judge wore the same outfit he wears presently, with inverted colors. Judge has great respect for strength, and the privileges that come with its exercise. He believes that men should speak with physical force alone, a view which colors his attitude towards his children.
He only values his sons when they prove such strength; for this reason, he is proud of Yonji, but refused to intervene as his other sons bullied Sanji when they were all children. These expectations are heightened by his desire to see his scientific achievements come to fruition. He will exhibit great pride in something should it succeed, as he doted on all his children except Sanji when they developed into superhumans. On the other hand, he will be very ashamed should something fail and will treat it in an unforgiving manner, as he judged Sanji as unworthy of being a member of the Vinsmokes based on his childhood actions and performances; when Sanji left the family, Judge only wished that he not tarnish his name by associating the two of them. Even after over a decade of estrangement, after which Sanji gained immense improvement, Judge continues to refuse to accept his third son as a true family member, more inclined to the fact that Sanji could not adapt to the genetic modification than his actual past physical weakness, along with his differing behavior to the lower-class.
Judge also craves power, and is preoccupied with recapturing the past glories of the Vinsmoke Family; for this reason, his lifelong ambition is to retake the entire North Blue, as his ancestors once did.
He has proven that he will not hesitate to use any means to accomplish his goals, including employing unfair advantages against his opponents; such actions include dishonorably creating a human shield, comprised of his subordinates, during his one-on-one fight with Sanji.
Additionally, Judge exhibits a typical royal hauteur, holding the firm belief that royalty is meant to be served, not to serve others. He disowns Sanji after learning about Sanji's "disgusting" habit of cooking for others (which he equates with serving others). It has been shown that he passed these attitudes down to his children, as his other sons use the same rationale to justify bullying Sanji, and his daughter is similarly proud of the status and privileges of being born with royal status. He enjoys flaunting his power and accomplishments, as he posted an image of himself victorious in the Conquest of Four Nations as interior decoration, to which Reiju claimed it was to display his own strength, though Sanji considers it tasteless and lunacy.
Judge has also proven that he is capable of immense cruelty. He was not simply content with demoralizing his son in front of his siblings, but even punished Sanji horribly by putting a metal mask over his face and locking him up in a dark cell within the family's castle. After 13 years apart, his only reason for seeking Sanji out was to use him as a political pawn to further his goals. He even threatened the life of Zeff(the man who took Sanji in after Sanji left the family) and placed exploding wrist-cuffs on Sanji's hands (the things Sanji values the most), to ensure Sanji cooperated with the wedding. The only time he has shown an interest in Sanji's safety was in preventing Niji from attacking him, because he still needed Sanji to seal the political alliance. However, Judge has shown hints of a conscience, as shown when he was unable to bring himself to kill Sanji.
Despite his cruelty, however, Judge claims that he is not inhumane enough to kill his children regardless of his feelings toward them. However, he will exploit loopholes if they present themselves, such as allowing Sanji to die by going off on his own.
Judge is a self-serving hypocrite and a promise-breaker, as he coldly disowned Sanji for being a failure, and allowed him to leave to live his own choices on the condition of never speaking of his heritage to cover the shame, only to later force Sanji to return with a hostage situation and labeling him as a son to the public (if only to provide a child to marry off for a political alliance).
Judge also possesses great political astuteness. He understood the full implications of Doflamingo's fall from power, including its impact on the war on Broc Coli Island. He also weighed up Germa's current privileges within the World Government against the benefits of an alliance with Big Mom, before deciding that losing the right to attend Reverie was far exceeded by gaining the manpower to retake North Blue. Judge is very cautious being willing to take several extreme measures to resolve potential unexpected difficulties such as threatening his third son by holding his mentor hostage as well as cuffing his hands with explosive wrist-shackles, he also intends to hold his future daughter in law hostage in order prevent Big Mom from backstabbing him; it was for this reason he chose to marry off Sanji, to ensure that if Big Mom holds him hostage, Judge would not be affected by the loss of his estranged son. Ironically, Judge still underestimated Big Mom by not realizing that the wedding itself was a giant trap, in that she intends to kill him and his entire family during the ceremony, and by parking his entire kingdom in her territory he left his technology for her to take.

Vinsmoke Reiju
"Poison Pink" Vinsmoke Reiju is the eldest child and only daughter of the Vinsmoke Family, making her both the princess of the Germa Kingdom and a commander in its military arm, Germa 66. Reiju is a slim young woman with shoulder-length hair that covers her right eye and curls upwards at the roots. Like her siblings, she has curly eyebrows. Reiju's overall facial features strongly resemble those of her deceased mother, but she also resembles her brother Sanji enough that Luffy initially mistook her for him, until Chopper pointed out that she is female. Both of her thighs are tattooed with a number '6'.
When commanding the forces of Germa 66, Reiju wears a dark dress with a split in the center going down to her stomach, and covered by target-shaped symbols - references to the number '0' (Rei) in her name.
She wears dark gloves, a pair of headphones with the number '66' on them, and a patterned cloak shaped like the wings of a moth. When not dressed in her Germa 66 gear, Reiju has been shown wearing a skinny headband in her hair, and a short, satiny dress with a frilled neckline and a cravat. For formal functions, she also wears a dark, thigh-length royal cape that is clasped in front of her neck. As a child, Reiju had shorter hair, but wore a similar dark headband. She has been shown wearing a light dress with the letter "Z" on the right side, as well as other light dresses featuring the number "0" in various forms. She also occasionally wore a dark ascot.Unlike her cruel and abusive brothers, Reiju is kind and empathetic - especially towards her brother Sanji, although this is frequently masked by a cool, callous demeanor. As a child, Reiju would openly laugh at Sanji's misery as he was enduring his brothers' vicious acts of cruelty, although she would treat him with care and sympathy when they were not around. While Sanji retains a vivid memory of his elder sister's amusement at the abuse he suffered as a child, Reiju confided to him that she only laughed with their brothers to avoid being subjected to similar cruel bullying herself. She also treated Sanji's wounds and seemed to express concern for him when it was said that he had died (but hid her concern behind a smile).
She even cried in secret as she listened to their father cast Sanji out of the family, and she queried why Sanji would ever return to a place that had provided him with so few happy memories. Furthermore, although she stated she was not on his side, it was she who helped Sanji escape his imprisonment as a child and encouraged him to find friends on the sea. To this day, Reiju is the only member of Sanji's family (excluding his deceased mother) to treat him with any degree of compassion. She is also very civil. Upon first meeting Luffy's Sanji retrieval team, Reiju apologized to them for Yonji's rudeness, and thanked them for everything the Straw Hats had done for her younger brother, Sanji. Her occasional actions and her general manner of speech are also quite flirtatious towards men, similar to Sanji's flirtatious behaviour towards women. Even before she was properly introduced to Luffy, she unabashedly placed her mouth over his in order to suck out the poison which was festering throughout his body. Reiju enjoys her luxurious lifestyle and is somewhat dismissive about the possible pleasures of living as a non-royal, as she fails to understand why Sanji would renounce the privileges of being a prince and choose a "mundane" pirating life instead. Despite her intelligence and kinder nature, she seems to only extend her kindness if it is convenient to herself. She shows kindness when it is easy for her to do so and get away with it, but is unwilling to risk her own safety and comfort for the sake of others. The very notion of someone putting others before themselves is so alien to her that she seems to be literally incapable of understanding why someone would value the safety and happiness of others above themselves. This puts her at odds with Sanji, as she could not understand why he would return to a home that abuses him just for the sake of protecting his mentor. Like the rest of her family, she has high regard for strength, pointing to the strength of the Vinsmoke Family throughout the generations, and all the achievements and privileges that they have obtained as a result of exercising that strength. Reiju has exhibited a calculating side; for example, she appears to be aware of Sanji's weakness for attractive women, showing him ten beautiful chambermaids that would be at his beck and call in order to convince him to accept his arranged marriage. She also easily charmed the Sanji retrieval team in their first meeting, humiliating Yonji and apologizing for his behavior in order to prevent a confrontation with the Straw Hats. She also appears to be naturally introspective, pondering the merits of war against a protracted failed peace. She is often shown musing silently to herself as she watches certain developments unfold, and frequently hides or disguises her true thoughts and feelings.

Vinsmoke Ichiji
"Sparking Red" Vinsmoke Ichiji is the eldest son of the Vinsmoke Family, making him both a prince of the Germa Kingdom and a commander in its military arm, Germa 66. Like the rest of his family, Ichiji has light-colored hair and curly eyebrows. He is slim with long legs, and stands at a comparable height to Sanji and his other brothers. His hair is fashioned into three prominent cowlicks on the right side, and also curls upwards slightly at the back like his sister.
When commanding the forces of Germa 66, he wears a dark suit with a light cape bearing the number "1" on its left, as well as a pair of sunglasses.
Outside of his Germa combat gear, Ichiji wears a dark shirt with an upturned collar and a light cravat, as well as a pair of light-colored pants. For formal functions, he also wears a floor-length, single-shoulder royal cape with an upturned collar and a neck clasp. However, unlike his siblings, his cape is light-colored. As a child, Ichiji wore a dark shirt with the number "1" on it. His hair was styled in the same manner as it is in the present. Like most members of his family, Ichiji is proud of his royal status, looking down upon commoners and servants; like his father and other brothers, he expresses disgust at Sanji's displays of kindness towards such individuals, reasserting that royals are meant to act like royals. Ichiji is also cold and brutal to the people he has been paid to fight against, caring only about his task and not their lives.
He does not like it when a battle takes a long time, and expresses his disdain for the people who oppose him. He also expects his subordinates in Germa 66 to lay down their lives for him at any point, showing no emotion at their deaths. While Ichiji seems to be excited to see his brother, Sanji, and attend his wedding, Niji stated that he was lying. In his childhood, he (like his other brothers) cruelly bullied his younger brother Sanji for showing compassion to non-royals. While Ichiji, Niji, and Yonji all enjoyed tormenting Sanji, Ichiji seemed to enjoy it the most. Notably, Ichiji scowled in anger as he beat and ridiculed Sanji, rather than laughing and smiling like his brothers and sister. According to Reiju, he lacks the ability to feel empathy and sympathy. Though Ichiji told his younger brother Niji to pipe down when Niji was annoyed that Sanji was not greeting them as they returned, this friendly attitude did not last long as when he came face to face with his younger brother, Sanji. Ichiji became cold and hostile when Sanji stated that his family offended him on every level. Ichiji replied that Sanji was a disgrace, clarifying that "royals should act like royals". Ichiji has little care for war affairs, and said so when his siblings were discussing the mission on Broc Coli Island. Ichiji is also lecherous like his younger brothers, as he became lovestruck when he first saw Nami.

Vinsmoke Niji
"Electric Blue" Vinsmoke Niji is the second son of the Vinsmoke Family, making him both a prince of the Germa Kingdom and a commander in its military arm, Germa 66. Like the rest of his family, Niji has light-colored hair and curly eyebrows. He has a similar build to his brother Sanji, being slim with long legs and standing close to him in height. His hair is groomed into a very large, curved partition across the right side of his face, ending in three prominent spikes.
While commanding the forces of Germa 66, he wears a dark cape bearing the number "2", dark goggles over his eyes, light colored gloves, and a large ascot around his neck. A set of horns extend upwars from a pair of earphone-like devices he wears, and his belt bears a buckle with a prominent lightning bolt design. Outside of his Germa combat gear, Niji wears a light-colored buttoned shirt with a tie, as well as dark pants belted with a slimmer version of the belt he wears with his Germa gear. For formal functions, he also wears a dark floor-length, single-shoulder royal cape with an upturned collar and a neck clasp. As a child, Niji wore a light shirt with the number "2" on it, as well as a pair of smaller goggles and a smaller ascot. His hair was styled in the same manner as it is in the present, although it was much shorter.
Like most members of his family, Niji is proud of his royal status, looking down upon and even abusing commoners and servants; he even expresses disgust at Sanji's displays of kindness towards such individuals. According to Reiju, he lacks the ability to feel empathy and sympathy. He also has no qualms about inflicting pain onto them as shown when he attacked the head chef and even sarcastically stated that he would of beat her anywhere but the face had he known Sanji cared for her. He does not see the importance of food as Sanji does, as he refused to eat a plate of aligot for what he believes to be an unappetizing appearance, and having eaten chocolate beforehand, he would have discarded the food into the trash. Niji is outspoken and quick to anger, as he was easily provoked by Sanji's insults, and voiced his irritation at seeing that Sanji had failed to greet him and Ichiji upon their return to the Germa Kingdom. He has also exhibited petty and vindictive behaviors, as he was willing to throw a plate at an innocent young chef's face but was stopped by Sanji, causing Niji to become furious that Sanji had defied him. When Sanji ate the meal Niji had wasted from off the ground, Niji was disgusted, claiming he felt like throwing up and went to attack Sanji before being stopped by his father. While on missions, however, Niji is serious and business-minded, making sure to collect Germa 66's commissions after performing their mercenary services. Unlike his sister Reiju, who displayed an interest in the philosophical issue of whether war or fractured peace was preferable, Niji dismissed her musings by stating that the Germa is only ever concerned with who was willing and able to pay them the most money. Despite his extreme cruelty, Niji is not completely immoral as he expressed slight disdain for Big Mom's habits to keep humans trapped in a book. Niji is lecherous like his brothers, as he became lovestruck and drooled when he first saw Nami.

Vinsmoke Sanji
Vinsmoke Sanji, most commonly known by his moniker "Black Leg" Sanji, is a pirate and the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates, the former sous chef of Baratie, and the third son of the Vinsmoke Family, making him a prince of the Germa Kingdom. He is officially the fifth member of the crew and the fourth to join, doing so at the end of the Baratie Arc. Since he was born in North Blue, he is the first Straw Hat not to originate from East Blue. He is one of the Monster Trio in the crew alongside Luffy and Zoro. His dream is to find the rumored All Blue, which is where East Blue, West Blue, North Blue, and South Blue meet along with their wildlife, a chef's paradise.
He has a bounty of Beli177,000,000, which is only valid if captured alive, per the request of his father. Sanji is a slim, yet muscular, long-legged young man with blond hair and keeps his hair brushed over one side of his face. For the initial part of the series, this was the left side. Due to his left eye never being seen, many fans questioned whether he had one at all. In the manga it was usually covered one way or another, but is seen in the anime (Episodes 20, 21, 27, 82, and Movie 6 and 10 although usually very briefly and most likely due to animation errors). Later, after the two year timeskip, he switched his hairstyle so that it covers the right side.
It also appears that Sanji's hair is less straight and scruffier after the timeskip. Among Sanji's physical traits are his distinctive eyebrows. Both form a spiral but at different ends. His right eyebrow forms a spiral at the outer end, while his left eyebrow forms a spiral at the inner end; both resemble the numeral 6. This means his face is asymmetrical with the position of his eyebrow spirals. This, however, is not fully seen due to his hairstyle. He still gets very upset if somebody, typically Zoro, mocks him over the spirals. Though, on rare occasions, Sanji's other eye was seen in the anime, the spiral was never witnessed. While Sanji's eyes usually seem black, he was depicted with grey-blue eyes in the anime at the beginning of Thriller Bark Arc. Sanji almost always wears a black, double-breasted suit with a tie and a long-sleeved, buttoned shirt of varying colors, usually orange, blue, turquoise, or black, with or without pinstripes. His outfit changes on a more frequent basis than most of the crew.

Vinsmoke Yonji
"Winch Green" Vinsmoke Yonji is the fourth son and youngest child of the Vinsmoke Family, making him both a prince of the Germa Kingdom and a commander in its military arm, Germa 66. As noted by the Straw Hats, Yonji heavily resembles his brother Sanji. He has almost identical facial features, including the curly eyebrows common to the Vinsmoke siblings. However, his hair is slicked back into a cowlick, his eyebrows curl in the inverse direction (both face the left side of his face), and he lacks facial hair.
He is also more muscular than his brothers, who all have comparatively thin builds, and is taller compared to Sanji. When commanding the forces of Germa 66, Yonji wears all dark clothing, with his shirt bearing the number "66" and his hooded cloak bearing the number "4". He wears a striped belt with the Germa 66 symbol as a belt buckle, metal gloves, and sunglasses and earphones on the top of his head. When outside of his combat attire, Yonji wears a light-colored short sleeved shirt with a frilled collar, along with a striped belt and plain black pants. For formal functions, he also wears a dark floor-length, single-shoulder royal cape with an upturned collar and a neck clasp. As a child, Yonji's hair was styled with a small cowlick on top of his head. He also wore a light shirt with the number "4" on it.
As Nami observed, Yonji, like his older brother Sanji, exhibits lecherous qualities. He is immediately struck by Nami's beauty, and is seen ogling Nami's bounty poster when Germa 66 depart from their brief meeting with the Straw Hats. He claims to like her fiery behavior. In all other respects, however, Yonji is very different from Sanji. He has been described as callous and stingy, refusing to help a dying Luffy and challenging the Straw Hats to plunder the Germa 66 ship for the cure for Luffy's condition. His elder sister, Reiju, claimed that he was rotten to the core. Yonji seems to take amusement in instigating or observing conflict, as he offered to lead Sanji to Niji for a fight with a smile and acted similarly when he tried to goad the Straw Hats into attacking him. He is also proud, getting angry at Reiju when she humiliated him in front of the Straw Hats. This proud nature was in evidence again when, upon suffering defeat at Sanji's hands, Yonji was infuriated and swore to make the latter pay for his actions. According to Reiju, he lacks the ability to feel empathy and sympathy. As a child, Yonji took part in bullying Sanji, joining his two eldest brothers in mercilessly beating and mocking Sanji's compassion in preparing food for others. This shows that he neither tolerates nor values any such trait, which he believed was worthless to royals. In the present day, Sanji himself claims that, despite his hopes to the contrary, all of the members of his family have only gotten worse with time. Yonji has certainly has not changed his ways since his childhood. Yonji is also very mindful of his family's affairs, deciding to not get involved with the Straw Hats in order to ensure that Sanji's wedding would not be jeopardized. He also tried to reprimand Sanji after hearing that Sanji was refusing to cooperate with their family's plans for an alliance with Big Mom, but was promptly overpowered by Sanji in retaliation. When discussing the mission on Broc Coli Island, Yonji expressed interest in making money as he suggested that they could have taken both sides and doubled the profit.
Charlotte Brûlée
Charlotte Brûlée is the eighth daughter of the Charlotte Family and a major antagonist of the Totto Land Arc. Brûlée is a very tall woman, standing at roughly twice Nami's height. She has a long face, a prominent dark nose, and a scar stretching diagonally across her face. She is well-endowed yet quite thin, and she has exceptionally long limbs and fingers; her legs alone are significantly taller than Nami's entire body. She has light hair that is divided into four sections that stick in various directions. She wears a frilly light dress and a dark feathered coat.
Brûlée is prideful, as she was rather offended when Carrot referred to her as a talking tree and Luffy called her a branch, as well as when Charlotte Linlin sent Charlotte Cracker to fight the Straw Hats in her stead due to not considering her powerful enough. Brûlée is confident in her powers and claims that she could kill the Straw Hats in an instant, not liking to be underestimated. Due to the terrible scar on her face, she is envious of those with alluring faces to the point that she wants to slice them up.
She scoffs at the notion of anyone succeeding against a Yonko like Big Mom, believing it to be ridiculous and impossible. She also thinks very little of the Worst Generation, believing their actions in the first half of the Grand Line were not that big of an achievement. Brûlée seems to share her mother's dream of creating a paradise with every race united, and finds great joy in discovering new kinds of creatures, especially animals. However, she seems to be extremely close-minded about non-humans, as she considers minks to be mere animals and wishes to consume them as such, even disregarding their begging for mercy. She also thinks very little of her mother's husbands, as she jeeringly declared her ex-stepfather, Pound, an enemy with no chance of returning from his actions. She is not very perceptive, as she fails to notice the frog transformed into Carrot was not actually speaking and also did not piece together that the duplicate Mink came from her own devil fruit ability. Brûlée also seems very susceptible to torture, as she easily gave Chopper and Carrot all the answers they needed when they tickled her.

Pedro of the Treetops
Pedro of the Treetops is a jaguar mink and captain of the Guardians.
He is the former captain of the Nox Pirates who sailed in search of a Poneglyph, and he earned a bounty in the process, but his journey was cut short in Totto Land. He is currently accompanying the Sanji Retrieval Team to Whole Cake Island. Pedro is a large, male feline mink with spotted fur, white ears, and long, wavy blonde hair. He gave up his left eye during his time as a pirate captain, and presently covers his scar with his hair.
Due to the ruthless way Jack and his men brutalized the minks, he suffered grievous injuries to the left side of his face and has a torn left ear.
Upon entering Totto Land, Pedro donned a dress shirt with floral-like frills down the middle, a dark cape with the same frills on the edge, and a large dark hat which partially obscures his face. Pedro is extremely loyal to whomever he follows, and is often overly eager to use violence to help his allies during tense situations without waiting for discussion. As a Guardian, he is willing to lay down his life in order to defend the Whale Forest against intruders, though he admits that he and the rest of the Guardians are a bit too sensitive to intruders and will call off an attack if asked to do so.
However, when not on duty as a Guardian, Pedro can be very cautious and distrusting toward strangers, quickly preparing to use force against anyone he feels may be a threat to him and his friends even if they seem to be friendly, as demonstrated during his encounter with Charlotte Pudding. He seems to like standing in trees and other high places and is sometimes intense when he gets up close to people. According to Tamago, Pedro used to highly prioritize his own survival when he was a pirate captain. He willingly gave up his left eye in order to prove to Big Mom that he needed to return to Zou alive and witness "the dawn of this world". Pedro believes this dream has come to fruition with the Straw Hats, so he is fine with dying as soon as his obligations to the Straw Hats are fulfilled. He is also very perceptive and intelligent; he is the only member of the Sanji Retrieval Team to be suspicious of Charlotte Pudding's motives due to her connection to Big Mom, and he is proven correct when she turns out to have been feigning her kindness and leading them into a trap (a deception that quickly fooled even the highly intelligent Nami).

Carrot
Carrot is a rabbit mink in the Warrior Beast Tribe, a member of the Inuarashi Musketeer Squad, and a ruler's aide. She is currently accompanying the Sanji retrieval team to rescue Sanji on Whole Cake Island. Carrot is a white-furred, blonde-haired, curvaceous rabbit mink with rabbit ears, a rabbit-like nose, and a large round fluffy tail. She wears a short orange dress with a green cape, a single rabbit paw-like glove, and brown boots. She does not seem to be very tall when compared to normal-sized people like Roronoa Zoro or Wanda.
Upon sneaking aboard the Thousand Sunny, she changed to a simple orange dress with the word "RABBIT" at the front with a single white strip, a black knitted cap, and loafers. She also had a backpack and a canteen.
After reaching Totto Land, Carrot dons a simple, short-skirt dress decorated with three vertical stripes running down the center and frills at the bottom, neck, and sleeves, and tied up at the front with a light colored bow, as well as a pair of black dress shoes. Carrot is very protective of the Mokomo Dukedom and is highly aggressive towards intruders. Like other minks, she refers to humans as "lesser minks". Carrot is also protective of people she cares about; when the Straw Hat Pirates were confronted by Germa 66, Carrot was willing to fight the evil army in order to protect them. She can also be very emotional; when Monkey D. Luffy ate poisonous fish skin and was left on the verge of death, Carrot begged him not to die and tearfully embraced him once the poison was sucked out of him.
Like a regular rabbit, she likes to gnaw on things, including people such as Luffy. She loves carrots to the point where her provisions for the trip to Whole Cake Island consisted entirely of them, and she ferociously attacked Luffy when she saw him eating her carrot. She also loves chocolate. Though feral and vicious when attacking someone, Carrot can be quickly calmed down if someone pats her head. Despite her warrior status, she seems to be naive and childish about serious matters and the world beyond Zou, and was easily excited by events new to her; when she heard Luffy planning to crash Big Mom's party and ruin the wedding ceremony, she believed it would be exciting to take part in, not realizing the extreme danger she would be facing in doing so, and she was later surprised to hear that it would take several days to reach Whole Cake Island because of how big the ocean was, having believed that it was small enough to only warrant half a day's worth of provisions. Additionally, she is not familiar with some natural weather phenomena, having mistaken lightning for Electro upon witnessing it at sea. She has always wanted to see the outside world and go on an adventure, and upon her discovery aboard the Thousand Sunny, she begged Pedro not to take her home immediately out of fear of being berated by Wanda. Despite her naivete, she has also proven that she can be rather clever and deceiving; she quickly devised a plot to use Charlotte Brûlée's mirror based powers against her and successfully fooled several Big Mom Pirates into thinking that they had captured her.

Knight Of The Sea Jinbe
"Knight of the Sea" Jinbe is a whale shark fishman, the second captain of the Sun Pirates after Fisher Tiger, and a former Shichibukai, who attained the position eleven years ago.
His name was first mentioned by Yosaku, when he was explaining about the Shichibukai. However, he is formally introduced much later, during the Impel Down Arc. He renounced his Shichibukai title at the Battle of Marineford, allying himself with the Whitebeard Pirates. During the war, he befriended Monkey D. Luffy, and later allied with him and his crew to prevent the New Fishman Pirates' coup d'état against the Neptune Royal Family and the Ryugu Kingdom.
He was even invited to join the Straw Hat Pirates, but declined due to having unfinished business of still being affiliated with Big Mom; however, he promised that once he was ready, he would return to Luffy again and request to join his crew. During the Totto Land Arc, he rescues Luffy and Nami from Big Mom's prison by defeating one of her children, thus cutting ties with the Yonko completely. Jinbe's first bounty was Beli76,000,000. Eventually, his bounty raised to Beli250,000,000. After he resigned from the Shichibukai, his bounty has been raised to over Beli400,000,000.
Jinbe is a large blue whale shark fishman with a stocky build similar to a sumo wrestler and a face that is commonly associated with various Japanese demons such as the oni. His yellow eyebrows and sideburns are distinctly shaped like those found on such demons, in addition to a bulb-like nose and an angular lower lip pointing upwards. He has a lightning-shaped scar that can be seen from his left side burn and reaching over his left eye which he obtained sometime between Otohime's assassination and meeting Ace. He also possesses two tusk-like conical lower fangs associated with Oni as well; the rest of his teeth from the upper and lower rows are pretty much the same, albeit much smaller. He also has a severe underbite, which makes room for his huge fangs. He has long, two-toned black hair, with two long stripes, colored gold in the manga and white in the anime, coming from the roots over his forehead and trailing down the back, a topknot, and tuft of hair on his chin with a slight green hue. This topknot did not exist during his time as a member of the Sun Pirates, instead his shorter and flowing black hair trails off half way to a light color concentrated at the back of his head. He kept his chin clean-shaven before joining the Sun Pirates, after which it gradually grew out over time. His hands and feet are also webbed, typical for a fishman, and his limbs that are somewhat thin in comparison with his enormous girth. His gills (which are pale and pinkish in color) are in between his shoulders and neck. Under his pale red coat (which he swaps for a black one two years later), he appears to be wearing a Coral colored traditional Japanese clothing covered all over with black and white square-shaped patterns with the black and white layers alternating each other (beginning with the black outline from the edge) and ending with a dark square at the middle of each and every one of them. He also ties this attire up with a purple obi like a ribbon around his waist. Jinbe is often seen wearing different traditional kimono of varying patterns: he wore a karakusa and later a floral design during his time as a member of the Sun Pirates; he wore square designs during his debut and a plain one after the Battle of Marineford. Four years ago, when fighting against Ace, he wore a black gi instead with fish designs on either side of the chest, and a red sash with a tanto tied to it. Two years after the war, while waiting for Luffy at the Sea Forest, his kimono has leaf-patterns. During Caribou's cover story, he is seen in another one patterned with flowers. For footwear, he appears to wear simple geta on his webbed feet. His Sun Pirates tattoo is on the middle of his chest. During the Totto Land Arc, his kimono has a Jolly Roger design arranged like stripes. He wore a Neptune Army uniform while he was serving as a soldier, and was often seen smoking a pipe back then. During Otohime's funeral, Jinbe wore a suit. In Volume 63 SBS, Oda draws the Shichibukai as children. Jinbe as a child is seen with light hair wearing a tattered gi practicing his Fishman Karate. He already had a black belt at this age.

Ren Jomaku
She appears in the second part of the manga series after the time skip. Her ESP can form blocks of ice that can be placed on any material. She is the target of the terrorists because of her "lock space" power. Ren is average height, her hair color is black along with black eyes. She wears glasses with a brown (or gold) frame. She is an ESP high school student that dreams of love. She was a shut-in since she locked herself at her home after her ESP awakened. Her mentality can be weak, but she is determined to become strong. At times she is clumsy and fantasizes about romance even in dangerous situations. She was Ayumu's classmate in middle school. Her ESP awoke in the summer, and after that her classmates started to ostracize and even bully her. She thought that Ayumu was her friend, but Ayumu was already an esper at the time. Because Ayumu was a little afraid of Ren's power and had his own problems to deal with, he decided not to help her. Unable to deal with the pressure, Ren decided to lock herself in at home. Ren hates Ayumu for "betraying" her, but after meeting each other again their relationship had gradually improved.
Her story began when her skirt was stuck in a train door, on the first day of 'school', which is in fact the ESP Academy . Then Zeusu, who was still a stranger, used his ESP and broke a small part of the door, freeing her skirt. Ren didn't say thanks because she was taken in by his good looks and had started to fantasize about having a romance with him. She realized that Zeusu was enrolled in the same ESP academy, and being obsessed as she was, constantly looked around for him even during the opening ceremony at school. All of a sudden, terrorists attacked the school while she was in bathroom. Panicking, she accidentally used her freezing ESP power and froze the water in the sink, getting her own hand stuck in the ice. She managed to free her hand with warm water, but then one of the terrorists noticed her and started to advance on her in a menacing manner, intending sexual assault. She freaked out and froze the terrorist within a block of ice and ran. The other terrorists now saw her as a danger and gave chase.
Eventually she found herself in a dead end, with the only exit being blocked by a locked thick metal door. Just as the terrorists encroached, a man-sized circular portion of the door fell out, revealing Zeusu, who beckoned at Ren to come through. She did just that, and Ren sealed the door in again. The two hurried away just in time, before a fire-wielding terrorist ESPer blasted down the entire door. Zeusu, with Ren in tow, ran up to the roof of the building, the terrorists hot in pursuit. They were greeted on the roof by Yoda, who had taken off the head of his panda costume. Shocked by his queer appearance, Ren froze Yoda, thinking that he was an alien. Dismayed, Yoda berated Ren for foiling his plans, of which Zeusu is also a part of, to lure the terrorists up onto the roof and take care of them there. With his hands stuck in a block of ice now though, Yoda could only watch as the terrorists burst out onto the roof. Outnumbered and inexperienced, Ren was quickly taken down by the terrorists, who started to give her a beating for causing them trouble. Zeusu shielded her from the blows using his own body. Panicking as she saw the source of her infatuation getting bloodied and bruised, Ren released the full extent of her power and froze all the terrorists in a huge tower of ice blocks. At that instant, there was the silhouette of a glowing fish, just that it was shaped like a shark and not a normal fish like the others. At the same time, a glowing black sphere appeared to surround the vicinity, and just for that second it seemed as if time itself had frozen. Cryokinesis: She can creates ice blocks on anything or throw them suddenly. The ice blocks she creates can be a trap for somebody or gigantic normal ice blocks. She can also freeze water by touching it. Lock Space: She can creates a black, locked space that can stop time and other things. The locked space appears around her or her target, and tons of ice blocks appears around the target(s) or even lock them inside. At first she can't control it but, she mangages to controls it so Zeusu won't die. Oozora, Ayumu : He was her friend but he then ignored her when her powers manifested. Thus causing a rift between them. After her kidnapping, their relationship improved when he tries to help her and make amends. Zeusu Tetsuya : Her bodyguard and her crush, because he rescued her.

Kyotaro Azuma
Kyotaro Azuma (東 京太郎 Azuma Kyōtarō) is the male protagonist of Tokyo ESP. He is the supposed "emissary of justice" for ESPers and works under the guise of "Crow Head". His parents worked on the research project that brought about the Glowing Fish in the first place. Azuma is average height, slightly taller than Rinka with long black hair, thick sideburns and dark brown eyes with lashes on the underside. He has a regular build but is supposedly very strong, as he was able to lift Rinka and her father, who is quite big, and knock out a plethora of gangsters with a baseball bat.
Azuma is an eccentric character, virtually always smiling and sometimes a bit slow on the uptake. He is very caring, however, especially towards Rinka. His personality is always calm and collected. When faced with a tough situation such as when Black fist robbed the museum. He would take hits to protect Rinka and thinks of strategies to get out of tight spots. Azuma also has a strong sense of justice which resulted in the creation of "Crow Head", a persona he uses when fighting evil in Tokyo. Kyotaro firmly believes in the responsibility that comes with great power, a symbol of his heroic actions. He also refuses to hit girls, causing him to rely on Rinka in situations with female villains. Azuma's parents were archaeologists who brought him along to a small country off the coast of Russia during one of their excavations. His parents were close friends with the Professor and his wife. During the excavation, they uncovered "the Ark" mentioned within the Bible.
Rinka Urushiba: They first met six months before the manga starts when she saved him from a bunch of bullies. She didn't even acknowledge him and he never got the chance to thank her, but he said he always considered her his hero. They met again later while chasing the shinning fish. Afterwards they have developed a deep bond and have even gone on a "date" (to catch an esper) and later he says he want to go on a real date with her. At the end of part one they can be seen embracing each other, and in part two they are holding hands while beginning their secret mission that made them disappear for a few months. They both In Love in Ending. Uncovering the Ark led to the Professor, his wife, and Azuma's parents gaining ESP. In part one, He meets up with Rinka Urushiba on a bike and follows her to the shinning fish. Afterwards he talks her into becoming a hero with him and becoming his partner. Even making a white crow head mask for Rinka, which she rejected. They then search for clues on the shinning fish when they saw Peggi, a flying penguin getting kidnapped along with a young girl.
Rinka Urushiba
Rinka Urushiba (漆葉 リンカ Urushiba Rinka) is the main protagonist of the first arc of Tokyo ESP. She lived a normal - albeit low class - life with her ex-police officer father until the interception by the Glowing Fish and self-proclaimed ESP vigilante Kyotaro Azuma. Since then she has become his assistant in the acquisition of other ESPers. Rinka is average height, with her distinguished dirty blonde hair that she received from her American mother and burgundy eyes. She has a full figure and pale skin with a mole below her left eye. Despite her dainty appearance she is extremely agile and proficient at melee attacks, specifically her signature Psy-kick. When her esp is "activated" her hair turns white, which is how she got her nickname, White Girl.
Rinka, although determined to live a normal life, helps Azuma reluctantly with his ESPer excursions. She keeps a level head in situations and her persistence is to be admired. Few times Rinka was ever depressed, but she was brought out of it by Azuma, her father or Yoda. She also doesn't seem to mind ridicule too much, or even hesitate to mock someone. Rinka awakens one day to find herself falling through the floor to the apartment below her's naked. Frightened, she runs up the stairs but cannot dial her father since the phone falls through her fingers. She manages to leave as she begins sinking again. Then, Azuma appears and covers her with a towel, telling her to calm down. She remembers previously leaving school on her bike but being sidetracked by a flying penguin. She chases it to Tokyo Sky Tree, where she encounters a gleeful Azuma cheering at a spectacle. He points out to her the Glowing Fish flying through the sky which the flying penguin is chasing, which no other person seems able to see. A fish floats down and enters her body and she passes out. Elsewhere, Rindo is describing to another officer his own experience with the fish as he listens to Rinka's message. He runs to her and all cars - rather, all metallic objects - follow behind and around him. Rinka manages to get dressed and states she's going to a hospital. Her father calls and says that he's looking for her, but the cars have compressed around him. She spots the cluster as well as everyone else in the nearby area. Rinka calls for her father but he can't hear her. Azuma infers that knocking him unconscious could negate the power, as Rinka couldn't use it when she was asleep. Rinka argues that as a former policeman he was extremely durable and they didn't have the time to wait for him to fall asleep. She remembers all the times he has been there for her and decides to act now.
Azuma says that if she fails it would hurt but Rinka runs into the fray, getting noticed by bystanders and giving her the nickname White Girl based on her white hair. She jumps into the car cluster and phases through everything, giving her father her Skull-Crushing Psy-kick, knocking him out. Azuma jumps in as the cars begin to collapse and congratulates her, grabbing hold of her and her father and teleporting them both away from the scene. Rinko notes with amazement how they suddenly appeared in Ikebukuro and Azuma labels his power "teleportation". He introduces himself to her as an ESPer. Rinka remains with her father at home until he awakens. She remembers how, after rescuing them, Azuma claimed to not know anything about the Glowing Fish. She decides that, despite the events that occurred hitherto, she is going to work, because they need the money. At the diner she works at Azuma is there, startling her. Soon after police come by asking the owner if she has seen the robber Black Fist who continuously slips into places unnoticed, beats up all guards and steals without ever being seen. They were on edge there because of the art gallery next door. Their only clue to Black Fist is that he/she disappears with smoke, leading Rinka to believe Azuma is the criminal. Physical Permeation: Rinka, by the Glowing Fish, has been given the ability to phase through any object. She can also choose what object she can go through, such as how she can go through a wall but keep all her clothes on and even take others with her as long as they are touching. Like every other ESPer, when not making a conscious effort all things pass through her. A downside to this ability is that she is unable to pass through living things like people or animals. Skull-Crushing Psy-kick: Rinka's signature move in the beginning of Tokyo ESP, which involves a kick with extreme momentum (from falling a great distance) towards a person. It is strong enough to knock out her father, who has a brick-wall type build, but is not lethal. Thousand-Armed Counter: Rinka's signature combat style. Due to training from Yoda, Rinka possesses extremely honed reflexes, and can also sense her opponent's chi to predict their movements, making their attacks simple to counter. She can also use chi sensing to fight while blinded or with her eyes closed, see through illusions, and sense enemies' positions.

Rize Kamishiro
Rize Kamishiro (神代 利世, Kamishiro Rize) is a ghoul that was hanging out at Anteiku. She set her eyes on Ken Kaneki, but moments before eating him, she was injured in an accident and her organs were transplanted in Ken Kaneki, making him half-ghoul. Rize is also known under her nickname Binge Eater (大喰い, Binge Eater or Gluttony, literally Big Eater). Because of her eating habits, Rize was a threat to most ghouls of the 11th ward and 20th ward. It has been revealed that her name may be fake by Itori. Her relation with Matasaka Kamishiro is unclear. She appears to be a shy, slender girl with long purple hair, purple eyes, and an hourglass figure. As a ghoul blending into human society, she wears a normal attire fit for a young woman, though her attire reveals some cleavage, possibly to seduce and allure males as her prey. Rize is very attractive and is aware of this fact, often manipulating it to her advantage.
Rize is a voracious, independent ghoul who acts as a femme fatale to those who fall victim to her charms. She is an enigmatic female with many aquaintances whom are left with a mysterious impression of her and those who come into conflict with her rarely come out alive, with the exception of Banjou, who finds her self-dependence and strength attractive. She has no ambitions and wanders the wards aimlessly to appease her boredom. 6 months before the steel frame accident, Rize Kamishiro lived in 11th Ward. Her activities made the ghoul investigators move in that ward. She decided to leave when the ghoul investigators started to act. Before she left, she killed Hagi, the leader of the ghouls of 11th Ward, and two other ghouls. Rize was targeting Kaneki who had a crush on her. After she won the chance of dating him for manipulation purpose, she led him to a deserted place where she began hunting. Revealing that she is a ghoul, Kaneki had also to realize the odds on her he noticed before while escaping. Then she went after him and wounded him a fatal injury in the abdomen. Just before giving Kaneki a finishing blow, steel bars suddenly falls on her from far up leading an "accident". The two of them went to Kanou General Hospital, where Prof. Akihiro Kanou made the decision of transplanting Rize's organs into Kaneki reasoning that she was a hopeless case and Kaneki needed her organs immediately.
During Yamori's torture sessions, Kaneki begins seeing a hallucination of Rize in his mind, who helps him embrace his new side that eventually Beat Yamori. It is in this period of time when Kaneki has a flashback about his mother and how she ended up dying from over exhaustion. Ever since it has been revealed that doctor Kanou is using her to create more artificial ghouls that like Kaneki during the invasion on the Aogiri hideout, Kaneki has been looking for people sharing her traits. Ken was shocked to see Rize still captive in the lab and Kanou revealed that he created more humans into one eye ghouls which angered Ken and Rize was rescued by Renji during the raid. Kaneki visited Renji, who lives in a container, to question Rize's whereabouts and about how Yoshimura is associated with the Aogiri Tree. After noticing Rize's presence inside another container, he proceeded to cut open the wall with his kagune and approached her. Rize however was in a state of extreme hunger and bind down, thus going crazy and couldn't recognize anyone. While in her starving state, she helplessly struggled from her confines pleading for meat and called her father.Rize is considered strong even among powerful ghouls, and her Kagune is well capable of taking down multiple opponents in one go. She was ranked 8th in the character popularity poll. Sen Takatsuki's The Black Goat's Egg was a book Rize and Kaneki liked reading from chapter Coincidentally, the book's setting and characters shows a resemblance of the two. Rize is similar to the black goat that has a gluttonous appetite for humans, and Kaneki who was transplanted with Rize's organs can be interpreted as the black goat's child. Kaneki's experiences in the ghoul world and the struggles with his ghoul nature show a parallel to the book's protagonist.

Uta
Uta (ウタ, Uta) is an old friend of Renji Yomo and Itori. He owns the HySy ArtMask Studio, where he sells bespoke masks. In his teenage years, he was known as No Face to the CCG investigators in the 4th ward. His body is covered in tattoos and his kakugan always remains visible. Kaneki describes his appearance as being a little scary. As a teen, his hair colour was a lot lighter, swept back and kept down sometimes with a hairband. He did not have any of his tattoos during this time. His ghoul mask is an expressionless face with a stitching design similar to a voodoo doll covering the eyes and the white surface. The tattoo on his neck is a Latin quote written in Greek letters (I can live neither with you, nor without you.He has a very nice way of speaking and seems to be friendly. Although his expression almost never changes, he has an amusing way of teasing people.
Uta was sadistic and savage from his youth, and though the narrative would have the reader believe he left those ways behind, it was not true. Once his affiliation with the clowns becomes apparent in the manga, it is revealed that he hasn't changed at all - only gotten better at hiding it. Like all members of his organization, he revels in creating chaos and destruction. His betrayal also partially lead to a sudden second collapse in Kaneki's mental health, leaving him vulnerable to the critical injuries inflicted by Kishou Arima. Ken Kaneki and Touka Kirishima went to his shop, the HySy ArtMask Studio, to get a mask for Kaneki. While taking Kaneki's measurements, he talked with Kaneki about Touka and the risk factor of the varying wards ghouls inhabit.By chance, Uta brought Kaneki's newly-made mask to Anteiku just when Touka and Kaneki had stopped training. He made Kaneki wear his new mask. He remarked that he placed the eyepatch on the right side because he wanted to see Kaneki's left eye. Gourmet Arc He is only seen here when Kaneki is taken to Helter Skelter, the bar the Itori owns. The two of them shock Kaneki when Itori wears one of Uta's masks to scare him. They are then shown having a pleasant conversation together at the bar, discussing his and Renji's past and how the 4th Ward is now dangerous because of them.
Uta is a part of the team that goes to save Kaneki when he is kidnapped by the Aogiri. He accompanies Yomo, Touka, Nishiki and Tsukiyama in the endeavor. Sometime later, Tsukiyama remarks that Uta, though having his kakugan active, isn't actually using his full power. Uta answers by telling him he doesn't think he needs to be serious right now, and that he is only here for Kaneki and so he doesn't get lazy. Despite not being at full power, he is able to keep up with Renji and Tsukiyama. When they finally find Kaneki, Uta is the only one who tries to comfort him after what he has been through. Uta gives Kaneki information about the CCG's Reaper, mentioning how strong and invincible he is. Whilst at V14, and finally facing Arima, Kaneki is stunned by his exceptional abilities. Kaneki suffers a psychotic break, disassociates, and it leads to his easy downfall. Uta is revealed to be a member of the Clowns and he was seen celebrating along with the other clown members.Uta is an excellent mask designer creating many of the ghoul masks seen in the 20th ward. Like other ghouls he has enhanced strength, speed, and reflexes than that of a human. His body is also able to regenerate, and isn't affected by normal human weapons. In his teenage years, he was quite capable of defeating multiple ghouls at once. His strength led him to become the "peacemaker" of the 4th ward. His interactions with Kaneki and various other characters indicate that he is quite skilled at deception and manipulation, proficient to the point of being able to fool even close friends such as Touka and Yomo.

Ayato Kirishima
Ayato Kirishima (霧嶋 絢都, Kirishima Ayato) is Touka Kirishima's younger brother. He grew up with his sister in the 20th ward but at some point in time, he left the district. According to Kazuichi Banjou, Ayato subsequently began to wander all the wards of Tokyo, bringing sheer wreckage and chaos upon them, until his unique powers and abilities caught Tatara’s eye. Ayato was therefore pulled into joining Aogiri Tree, where he is currently an Executive. Ayato bears a striking resemblance to his sister, and has a rough-looking, rebellious image, while normally displaying either a scowl or smirk on his face. He is a quite tall and lean young man, with blue eyes and long, blue messy hair which sweeps down in front of his eyes. He wears a hooded, long-sleeved black leather jacket, and black pants, along with knee-high black boots. Ayato also has a piercing on his left ear, and usually wears a ring on the pinky finger of his right hand.
An arrogant, brash teenager, with a similar hot-blooded attitude resembling his sister's. Other than his physicalities, he shares many similarities with Touka, such as his tendency to use language that is often coarse or inappropriate. He has a habit for kicking people over the simplest mistakes; such as when Kaneki failed to address him with the desired honorific, or when Banjou didn’t return his missed calls. However, he seems to be more harsh compared to his sister, but admits himself to be surprisingly nicer than his Aogiri superiors. He is a firm believer in the notion that ‘the weak perish and the strong survive,’ which was triggered by the death of his mother and father. Ayato bears deep grudges against his father, Arata, for abandoning him and Touka when they were young. Ayato has even stated that the whole reason for hating Kaneki was his resemblance to Arata. It was also pointed out by Kaneki that Ayato cares deeply for Touka subconsciously, as shown when he beat her down first rather than allowing her to suffer a slow, torturous death from Yamori. Ayato also seems to have a soft spot for rabbits. Ayato resided in the 20th ward with his sister Touka, under the care of their father, Arata. Arata lived his life like humans did; he usually took Ayato and Touka to the library to study, and even convinced them to eat food offered by humans; for he believed that ghouls should try to blend in with human society by adapting their behavioral patterns. Ayato however, supposed that it was solely a human’s world, and that ghouls weren’t “normal.” He and Touka also cared for a bird, where Ayato was shown to dislike earthworms and insects. One night before Arata set out on his regular scavenging routine, Ayato made a promise to him that he’d protect Touka whenever she was in trouble. After Arata never returned, Ayato assumed that his father had died by Ghoul Investigators finding and killing him. Touka and Ayato visited a woman named Satou to tell her of their father’s disappearance. She offered them human food, but when they refused, Satou stuffed the food in Ayato’s mouth, and so both siblings were sold out. They managed to escape as Touka used her kagune to kill the investigators.
Ayato is first seen at the Aogiri Hideout in the 11th ward, enraged by the fact that he sent Kazuichi Banjou on a mission to capture Rize Kamishiro, but doesn’t answer his phone calls. Ayato, thinking that Yakumo Oomori and Nico would capture Rize before him, visits the 20th ward, where he barges into Anteiku upon hearing Banjou telling Kaneki that he should run away from the incoming danger. He kicks Banjou in the arm, cracking his bones, and threatens to give him another beating. Ayato is suddenly faced with his elder sister Touka Kirishima, and when asked where he wandered off to after walking out of her life, Ayato says that he has been ‘studying the world,’ for he would never proclaim himself to be a ‘peaceful idiot.’ Ayato becomes disappointed when he sees Yamori at Anteiku as well, but when Nico points out that Kaneki is indeed the one that smells like Rize, Ayato co-operates with Yamori to capture Kaneki. When Touka puts up a resistance by not wanting them to take Kaneki, she counters Yamori but is confronted by Ayato. Ayato, punching her in the face, compares Touka to their dead parents, calling her a ‘weakling.’ Touka thrusts her kagune at him, but he blocks the attack with one of his wings. With his own kagune activated, Ayato pledges to show her that ghouls are truly above humans. Ayato then beats her down effortlessly, subsequently ordering Banjou to stuff an unconscious Kaneki in a bag and head back to the 11th ward. When asked if they should take Touka as well, Ayato desists, saying that she would just weight them down. At the Hideout, Ayato is the first person to approach Kaneki when he wakes up. He orders Kaneki to follow him, but when Kaneki shows concern for Touka’s well-being, Ayato kicks him, telling him that he is not allowed to talk, and should be obedient at the slightest order he is given. Ayato then admits himself to be a ‘softy,’ in comparison to his superiors. He then takes Kaneki to a meeting to meet Tatara, but when Tatara refuses Kaneki, Ayato is told to do what he wanted with him. Ayato then locks Kaneki away in a room. Later on, during the CCG’s raid on the Aogiri Hideout, he is seen beside the Bin Brothers, battling the ghoul investigators.
